Reading the Bible Cover to Cover

How can you say you believe the Bible cover to cover if you have never read the Bible cover to cover? Do you always accept another’s ideas and interpretations as your own? Perhaps your excuse for not reading the Bible completely through from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is, “I don’t understand everything I read.” I don’t always completely understand a recipe the first time I read it, or instructions on how to assemble a gas grill, or all the bells and whistles on my new phone the first time I try. I must think about it, process, consider, and put 2+2 together.  In other words, my time, effort and brain are required.

If it’s in the Bible, it’s important and pertains to our lives today. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” (2 Tim. 3:16). ALL. God reveals His plan of salvation throughout the pages of Scripture—from Genesis to Revelation. https://influencemagazine.com/practice/back-to-the-entire-bible

My daily devotional, Connections, will help the serious Bible student understand the major themes and truths contained in God’s Word. You will read each day’s Bible reference from your own Bible first, followed by that day’s reading in Connections. This daily discipline will encourage, teach, and assist you in reading the entire Bible in chronological order.

Connections may be purchased in soft cover or kindle through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iTunes, etc. You may also purchase directly from my website (USA only) at a reduced price https://karennorton.com/shop/.

Don’t let someone else tell you what you must believe. Search the Scriptures for yourself and hear directly from God. He wants to speak to you one on one and not always through a third or fourth party. Get to know God for yourself. Experience His truth personally. Don’t miss the many blessings He has planned for you.
